SportDOG Brand® Expands SportHunter® Remote Trainer Line with Compact Model SD-1225

Knoxville, Tenn. (January 15, 2010) – Building upon its innovative line of remote training products for sporting dogs, SportDOG Brand® has expanded its SportHunter® series to include the SD-1225, featuring a compact transmitter and slim-profile collar receiver.

Like other products in the SportHunter family, the SD-1225 provides hunters and trainers with correction and communication versatility. The compact transmitter offers up to 16 stimulus levels, a choice of continuous or momentary stimulation and the ability to control a second or third collar. In addition, it provides the user with the option to send tone or vibration signals to the collar receiver. The user can select from eight levels each within a low, medium or high setting on the receiver. No matter what style of training the user prefers, this system can provide it.

The lightweight, waterproof collar receiver features a slim-profile and contoured shape that ensures a custom fit on the dog’s neck. Additional collars (Model SDR-A) are compatible with the SD-1225’s transmitter.

Together, the transmitter and collar receive provide up to ¾-mile of range. Both components are designed with SportDOG Brand’s DryTek™ waterproof technology for submersibility down to 25 feet. Both the transmitter and collar receiver are easily and quickly charged in only two hours via a convenient docking station.

Suggested retail for the new remote training system is $239.95. For more information, visit http://www.sportdog.com/ .
