Primitive Pottery Workshop: Participants learn how to make pottery like the ancient Fremont Indians. Through one-on-one instruction, local artists will teach methods of pottery making, decorating and firing in a rock-lined pit. Cost is $60 and clay and tools are available for purchase. Gourmet Hike: Join Friends of Wasatch Mountain State Park at 9 a.m. in the visitor center parking lot for an intermediate to advanced hike led by cooking and nutrition expert Leslie Smoot and Friends’ member Dayna Stern.
