Pottery Workshop scheduled at Fremont Indian State Park

Sevier – Learn ancient pottery techniques at Fremont Indian State Park and Museum September 10 through 12. Local artists teach methods of pottery making, decorating and firing in a rock-lined pit.

Fremont Indian State Park hosts Spring Festival

Sevier – Attend the Native Skills Spring Festival Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 at Fremont Indian State Park and Museum celebrating ancient and modern American Indians of Utah.

An artisan village offers demonstrations and workshops in pottery making, basketry, gourd art and beadwork. Other events include an atlatl throwing competition, stone tool making demonstration, mountain man rendezvous activities, workshops, crafts and food vendors.
